He Already Made The Pro-vision For The Vision I

“Our barns will be filled with every kind of provision.

Psalm 144:13

3 months ago, when God assigned a new place for me to walk in purpose, I was perplexed. Before the “what,” came the question of “how?”

“Lord, how will the funds come to take this trip?” “How will the ones I am to visit welcome me amidst their own tasks and ticks?” “How will I respond to my loved ones when the questions about yet another move pour in?”….”How, Lord.”

The most significant one being, “Lord, how will I get there?”

My last two months in Atlanta was spent working two part-time jobs, one of which was a minimum-wage cashier position at a restaurant. And as God would have it, enough income came from both jobs put together, to add up just enough for my rent and other bills. There was no left over funds to save or hide-away.

So once again, I asked God, “How?”

Initially, I concluded that I was to go from Atlanta, Georgia to the assigned place the LORD commanded. I was wrong.

“You will go back first,” said the Voice. That was almost  9 weeks ago.

Exactly 2 weeks before my move back to New York, the Spirit told me to reach out to my former manager from Atlanta that had been promoted to the New York location I left. I obeyed.

I did not even know that the door had already been open. I just had to obey and walk through it in faith.

When I spoke to my manager, I immediately poured out the truth to him. I informed him about my pending journey to yet another place and how the Spirit instructed me to reach out to him first. I told him that it’d be a very temporary position. 7 1/2 weeks temporary to be exact.

The only question my manager raised was when I would like to start. I was told to reapply for the position since I only left the company about 6 months ago. Again I obeyed. I did not yet see it, but God had already done the rest.

No interviews, no training, no obstacles whatsoever.

I was back working at Nordstrom 4 days after my plane landed in New York. The pro-vision had already been made for the vision God showed me, and I’m still in awe of it all.
